The B2B Malecon Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Cancun, Mexico has chosen to upgrade to Onity’s latest locking technology, the HT RFID electronic locking system. HT RFID is the newest addition to the existing HT product line and offers contactless RFID technology. Onity is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
RFID is rapidly becoming the global standard for contactless cards and the B2B Malecon Plaza decided to offer this new technology to hotel guests.

Onity’s HT RFID replaces traditional magnetic stripe technology with radio frequency identification technology, eliminating the need for physical contact between the card and the reader.
