Denver company, Moving Murals, announced it will be featured in the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference 2012 Futuristic GUESTROOM 20X exhibit. They were hand-selected to provide their innovative art product which will be on display through this Thursday, June 28th, 2012.
After a worldwide search, a special GUESTROOM 20X advisory council consisting of hospitality technology experts, selects the most innovative technologies that will inspire and impact projects today and in the future. The GUESTROOM 20X model is put on display biennially and this year, will be featured as the main exhibit at the Baltimore Convention Center, in Baltimore, MD. COO and co-founder, Sarah Christensen will be present at the conference to address questions from over 5,000 captains of industry, representing 53 countries. Christensen will share the vision of Moving Murals at the event. Christensen said, “It’s an honor to represent Moving Murals at the HITEC event to communicate our passion for creating a new art solution that’s both mesmerizing and therapeutic to those who experience our Moving Murals.”
Moving Murals are multi-purpose art solutions that are displayed through High Definition panels or projection screens, providing a multi-sensory experience that is truly “awe-inspiring.” The award-winning innovation combines high-resolution photography techniques ranging from time-lapse to high-speed photography, with trailblazing new technologies to produce imagery that can only be described as Living Art in True Definition. The visuals can be coupled with scent and sound to expand the sensory experience. These Murals highlight a wide variety of subject matter including both natural and man-made environments. It is through high-impact visuals, nuances of color and the optional integration of music, natural audio or ambient scent to create a desired effect in a hotel lobby, hospital waiting area, conference room, or any imaginable space. Unlike static works of art, these revolutionary Moving Murals are continually evolving, which in turn enlivens the senses, stirs the soul, and potentially heals the mind and spirit.
Incorporating Moving Murals into commercial and residential spaces will enhance the experience of clients and guests, clearly differentiating a property from the competition. High Definition panels can be solely dedicated to Moving Murals artwork or can be the “blank screen solution”. When the screens are not being utilized for other purposes, a mural may replace the screen with moving art. Advertising and brand messaging can also be incorporated as yet another capability of a Moving Mural and the art can be exchanged quarterly with new art available through a subscription service to the Moving Murals Gallery.
President Susan Rees noted this will be the second major recognition for the company since debuting at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada last September where Moving Murals won the Gold Innovation Award. Rees said, “To be selected to showcase Moving Murals in GUESTROOM 20X is an amazing honor and provides wonderful opportunity for us because interest from the media far reaches audiences beyond hospitality. GUESTROOM 20X has been featured on Bloomberg TV, in world-renowned publications like the New York Times, CIO Magazine and numerous other publications and blogs around the world. We are so pleased and I’m especially excited for the team that has worked so hard to earn recognition. “
