Sonesta International Hotels Corporation today announced a new extended stay hotel, the 118-room Sonesta ES Suites Columbia. Scheduled to come under Sonesta management on August 9, 2012, the hotel is currently known as the Staybridge Suites Columbia. Located in Columbia, MD, the Sonesta ES Suites Columbia is conveniently located near Gateway Business Park and is just 12 miles from downtown Baltimore. Each oversized studio, one and two bedroom suite offers 550 to 750 square feet in area and a fully equipped kitchen, convenient work area and complimentary high speed wireless internet access. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour exercise room, sports court, seasonal BBQ grille, guest laundry, a board room
(288 square feet) and a 24-hour business center. A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered daily.
