As esteemed global leaders in the lodging industry gather for the much-anticipated 34th Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference from June 3-5 at the New York Marriott Marquis, they will be surrounded by the work of ForrestPerkins. The award-winning design firm led the extensive renovation of the iconic Times Square hotel that has been completed over the last year. ForrestPerkins redesigned the eighth floor lobby, including Broadway Lounge, Crossroads American Kitchen and Bar and The Liberty Room, the magnificent Broadway Ballroom and pre-function area, plus 1,949 guest rooms, suites and corridors. Deborah Lloyd Forrest, FASID, principal and co-founder of ForrestPerkins, will attend the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference on behalf of the firm.
ForrestPerkins specializes in upper upscale, luxury and multi-residential properties worldwide. Currently the firm is working on luxury hotels in Amman, Jordan, Mecca, Saudi Arabia and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as well as properties in the U.S.
Most recently, Condé Nast Traveler named The Jefferson Hotel in Washington, DC, where ForrestPerkins was both the Architect of Record and the Interior Designer, among its "8 Favorite Hot List Hotels of All Time: Hot List All-Stars 2012." And Travel Leisure named the Woodlands Inn in Charleston, South Carolina, another ForrestPerkins-designed property, in its "World's Best" issue.
