Lee Blair, senior vice president of Durkan – the hospitality brand of Mohawk – has been named the company’s global leader of hospitality. In his dual role, Blair continues to drive Durkan’s domestic business as senior vice president with the increased responsibility of leading Mohawk’s worldwide hospitality outreach.
“At Mohawk we are committed to ensuring cohesive access to all of our product offerings, as well as unparalleled service to customers domestic and abroad,” said Michel Vermette, senior vice president, commercial and international business. “Lee has an innate understanding of the hospitality market and international architecture and design industry. I am confident his knowledge and experience will allow him to develop the effective strategies needed to elevate Mohawk’s leadership among hospitality customers worldwide, while also helping to drive the company’s global growth.”
With more than 26 years of hospitality experience, Blair possesses profound insight into the challenges and opportunities facing today’s hospitality industry. Beyond leading the brand’s sales, marketing, design and product direction, Blair – who has served as Durkan senior vice president since 2007 to present – contributed to the company’s double-digit growth.
