Burditch Marketing Communications (BMC), a West-coast based award-winning public relations agency representing luxury travel, tourism, hospitality & design clients, was appointed as the agency of record for San Francisco’s Inn at the Presidio and PRESS Restaurant located in Napa Valley’s St. Helena.

As agency of record for Inn at the Presidio, BMC will be responsible for the public relations launch of the first and only property set inside a national park. Activities will include pre-opening local, national and international media relations, messaging and collateral development, and establishing communication strategies that will raise awareness of this new boutique property set to open in the spring 2012.

With an exceptional location in the heart of San Francisco’s Presidio, Inn at the Presidio celebrates the best of both worlds: a hidden getaway amidst a national park. The Presidio is filled with miles of hiking trails, abundant wildlife, and stunning bay and bridge vistas. Yet it is minutes away from San Francisco’s most iconic destinations such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Crissy Field and the Palace of Fine Arts. The 22-room Inn at the Presidio will be built with the Presidio Trust’s goals of preserving and enhancing the lodging’s rich historical, cultural and natural resources, while updating it with modern amenities.

BMC has also recently become the agency of record for PRESS Restaurant St. Helena. Like the Parisian restaurant Chez L’Ami Louis that inspired it, PRESS Restaurant is also known for its best quality ingredients, producers, butchers, informative and intuitive service, comfort, and camaraderie. PRESS serves steaks and seafood, while creating innovative dishes where the flavors are expressed through the distinguished taste of the ingredients. The dynamic team of executive chef Stephen Rogers, manager/host Allison Yoder, and sommeliers Scott Brenner and Kelli White produces one of wine country’s most memorable experiences.

BMC’s services will include local, regional and national media relations; collateral development; and positioning and branding of wine country’s singular choice for the combination of best steaks and seafood in the region.
