Guest Scores Rise for Platinum Hotels with Deployment of MTech's PMWorks

Platinum Companies, a Hermitage, Tenn.-based owner and operator of select-service hotels in Texas and Tennessee, has recently deployed MTech's PMWorks solution across all properties. PMWorks is a Web-based preventive maintenance and work order solution designed to help management extend the physical life of its property assets, thereby lowering costs.

The Platinum Companies is comprised of three divisions: Platinum Capital Group, Platinum Development Corp., and Platinum Hospitality Management. The PHM portfolio contains nine select-service hotels consisting of Hilton, Marriott and Intercontinental Hotel Group brands.

"PMWorks is serving a two-fold purpose for our hotels," said Greg Winey, VP of Operations for Platinum Hospitality Management. "Daily, the system keeps our maintenance engineers on track, closing work orders for tasks that might otherwise get overlooked without an automated system in place. It ensures that our property engineers are working efficiently, and that work orders are being completed on time, all the time. Long term, the system gives us a more thoroughly maintained asset top to bottom. Now we have better control over the lifespan of our hotel's furnishings, fixtures and equipment, preventing any premature maintenance expenses.

PMWorks has helped preserve hotel assets 3,228,138 times in the last year; It is currently extending the life of 176,204 pieces of equipment; and it's currently helping preserve 216,799 hotel rooms. MTech is a leading developer of Software as a Service (SaaS) products aimed at improving service and efficiency for the hospitality industry.
