The Atlantic Hotel, which led the renaissance of Fort Lauderdale’s famous beach, is putting the final touches on a multi-phased renovation of all guest rooms. A member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the property is the only luxury boutique hotel along Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.
As part of the project all 124 guestrooms – including 54 spacious suites – were enhanced while maintaining their stylish, contemporary flair. The new design features a rich blue and brown color scheme; luxurious bed linens that incorporate a decorative bed scarf; 42-inch, flat-screen LG television, and WiFi connectivity. Large armoires are being replaced with sleek, low-profile Mahogany dressers topped with black granite.
Chicago-based Jordan Mozer & Associates was tasked with creating distinctive carpeting to accentuate the new décor. The firm has previously worked for a number of iconic hospitality brands, such as Disney, Universal Studios, Marriott, The Kimpton Group, The House of Blues Hotels, Steve Wynn of Mirage Resorts, The Venetian Hotel, among many other clients.
"We are very proud of the new look and feel that this renovation has added to our stunning hotel," said Jon McGaunn, The Atlantic Hotel’s general manager. "These enhancements reinforce our status as the premier luxury boutique hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach."
