The Lodge at Vail, A RockResort, announces the completion of a $1.5 million renovation to its mountainside ballroom. The contemporary redesign provides an understated, luxurious atmosphere that reflects the majestic natural beauty of Vail. Additionally, the Lodge unveils its new 11,000-square-foot RockResorts Spa,™ which features indigenous products, locally inspired treatments, and elegant alpine decor.

The renovated ballroom provides a spacious venue with flexibility to host groups ranging from 10 to 300 people. The 6,000-square-foot ballroom is framed by wood beams and features warm earth tones accented by cobalt blue elements that flow throughout the carpeting and iridescent wall treatments. The chandeliers and wall sconces blend the clean lines of the modern era with rich fabrics. Large windows overlook Vail Mountain, presenting a dramatic backdrop for meetings and social events. And the Lodge's new catering menus—featuring sustainable cuisine such as more organic and locally grown produce and sustainable seafood—provide exceptional dining options for ballroom guests.

The Lodge at Vail's brand-new, 11,000-square-foot RockResorts Spa (including a fitness complex and movement studio) opened in July with 11 treatment rooms, including a luxurious couples’ room with a fireside soaking tub for two, a wet treatment room, two facial rooms and seven massage rooms. iPod docking systems in each room allow guests to play their own personal music selections. The spa’s treatment menu features organic ingredients, rejuvenating facials, indigenous wraps and massages that begin with a pre-treatment aromatherapy foot soak. Signature treatments include a Green Tea & Chamomile Healing Wrap and Youth Recovery Facial.

“We are excited to elevate the luxury experience for our group guests with the completion of the ballroom and the opening of the new spa,” said Bryan Austin, general manager of The Lodge at Vail. “In addition to these new amenities, our location in the heart of Vail Village gives us a competitive advantage for groups seeking easy access to the mountain, shopping and dining.”

The Lodge at Vail, A RockResort renowned for relaxed luxury and impeccable personal service, is situated in the heart of Vail Village. Featuring mountain and village views, the lodge’s 165 rooms and suites are reminiscent of a fine European chalet with accents of mahogany and marble. The intimate alpine resort offers two exceptional restaurants including The Wildflower and Cucina Rustica, as well as Mickey’s Bar, a Vail institution featuring live entertainment.
