Ranchos San Lucas Development Heading Towards Completion Later This Year

LOS CABOS, MEXICO—Luxury resort and real estate development Rancho San Lucas is well underway and ready to debut in Cabo this winter. The 834-acre master-planned community will include two hotels under Solmar Group's five-star brand, Grand Solmar (now accepting reservations), a Greg Norman designed 18-hole golf course and Club House, Greg Norman designed beachfront Estates and condominiums, single family residences and more.

Here's what is new at Rancho San Lucas:

Norman Estates at Rancho San Lucas
Earlier this year, Solmar Group and Greg Norman joined forces in a partnership resulting in the famed golfer's first real estate venture in Latin America. The Norman Estates at Rancho San Lucas are beachfront condominiums from $1.4 million and private residences starting at $3.3 million modeled after Norman's lifestyle offering owners beach, ocean and golf course views. The streets and main access road at Norman Estates at Rancho San Lucas have already been completed and platforms on the oceanfront homes are almost finished. Retaining walls for the second and third row homes are currently being built. A Founders Incentive package is available for early investors.

The Hotels at Rancho San Lucas
The luxury hotels at Rancho San Lucas, Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas and Grand Solmar the Residences at Rancho San Lucas are already accepting reservations and scheduled to welcome guests December 23. The resorts will feature a salt water lagoon, water park, spa, fine dining and more. Close to 900 people are currently working on site to meet the opening deadline.

Real Estate at Rancho San Lucas
Rancho San Lucas Real Estate will feature luxury villas offering five different floor plans and desert, golf and ocean views. Lot pads for Phase 1 of the villas are already in place and construction is well underway on the first villa. By year end, owners will be able to walk their villas and see them take shape as luxury touches begin to be added. The first phase of The Villas is already 50 percent sold out.

Golf Course
Rancho San Lucas will feature an exclusive 18-hole Greg Norman golf course with ocean views from 17 holes and seven oceanfront holes. The spectacular island green is well underway and shaping is currently taking place for holes 11, 12, 13 and the practice range. The golf course will include over 150 acres of Paspalum grass which has a high saline tolerance and the advantage of being able to be watered with sea water. The grass will be grown at the on-site grass farm, an important step to conserve and protect the environment.

One of Rancho San Lucas' core values is sustainability. Indigenous flora rescue and relocation of mature trees and cacti are an essential part of the development's environmental program. Close to 5,000 plants have been rescued and relocated, and about 100 mature trees and cacti have been re-located to main roads for landscaping. Thus far, more than 18,000 samples of local flora have been preserved to protect the site's natural environment.

Features & Infrastructure
Rancho San Lucas will feature two man-made lakes, one of which will showcase the golf course's 17-hole island green. The lake, currently under construction, will also play an integral role in the course's irrigation system since water is a vital element to keep the golf course green. Leading up to opening, Rancho San Lucas has devoted over 61,00 man-hours in infrastructure including access roads giving visitors an exclusive, private entrance from the highway, underground services including fiber options for high-speed internet and golf course shaping.
