Hilton Worldwide today announced the promotion of Robert (Bob) McPherrin to the position of general manager of Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre. In his new position, McPherrin will oversee all day-to-day operations of the 500-guest room hotel and will report directly to Area Vice President, Andy Slater. Situated in the affluent area of North Dallas, Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre overlooks a four-acre lake with walking trail. Just 15 minutes from both DFW and Dallas Love Field airports, the hotel is also conveniently positioned near dining, shopping and entertainment centers as well as near host of Fortune 500 companies.

Since 2011 McPherrin served as the director of sales and marketing of a Dallas-area sister property, Hilton Anatole. During his time at this iconic property, he had oversight of group and transient sales as well as all marketing and public relations efforts. Under his leadership, the hotel introduced three new restaurants and forged several marketing partnerships with sporting and Dallas-area community organizations that led to significantly increased revenue and market share.
Prior to this, McPherrin held the position of assistant executive director at the Grapevine Convention, TX & Visitors Bureau and opened the Gaylord Texan hotel as the vice-president of sales and marketing. Bob also held leadership positions in sales and marketing at Inter-Continental Barclay Hotel in New York, Treasure Island in Las Vegas, NV, Hotel Inter-Continental Chicago and Fairmont hotels in Chicago and Dallas.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Loyola University of Chicago and a Master of Arts at University of Illinois.
