Lexington Legacy Brand Takes Off with the New Kuta Hotel in Bali, Indonesia

Lexington’s soft brand, Lexington Legacy, is starting 2013 strong with the addition of the beautiful New Kuta Hotel, located in the Pecatu Indah Resort in Bali, Indonesia.

Just minutes from the popular white “Dreamland Beach” of New Kuta and surrounded by an 18-hole championship golf course, the five tower, 266-room hotel boasts beautiful views of the ocean and golf course.

“This is the best of both worlds for us,” said Alexander Dorus, general manager of the hotel. “We get to keep our current and well-known name yet tie it in with the outstanding reputation and resources of Lexington and Vantage Hospitality.”

“There’s no question the New Kuta Hotel is a perfect fit for Lexington Legacy,” said Bill Hanley, group president of Lexington by Vantage. “They have an excellent reputation and many return guests, yet they felt the need to have the resources of a national brand backing them. With our CRS and distribution platforms, we can take them to a whole new level, yet allow them to maintain their independence.”

Independent hotels that join Lexington Legacy will immediately gain the power and resources of parent company Vantage Hospitality, the eighth largest hotel company in the world. “Our revenue-management, marketing, and large distribution with negotiated rates to OTAs are a major game-changer for these hotels. They now have the potential for much greater revenue and occupancy than ever before,” said Hanley.

The New Kuta Hotel has five meeting rooms, including a Grand Ballroom that can host up to 700 guests. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Kayumanis, offers authentic local dishes specially prepared by a Balinese chef. An international menu is also available featuring ocean-fresh seafood, succulent meat dishes and delicious salads, soups and sauces.

In addition to the New Kuta Hotel, Lexington Legacy recently added the Lion’s Gate & Conference Center, located in Sacramento, CA, to its portfolio.
