Visit Orlando Hires Mark Jaronski As Vp Global Communications

Visit Orlando is pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Jaronski as Vice President of Global Communications. Jaronski comes to Visit Orlando from Walt Disney World Resort, where he held leadership roles in disciplines ranging from public relations and executive communications to brand management and operations. He brings to his new role 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including two years outside Disney as Director of Media & Communications at Darden Restaurants.

 Jaronski began his new position on January 14 and oversee all aspects of external and internal communications for Visit Orlando, which includes working with Visit Orlando’s nine international offices, a Global Communications staff of 12 which encompasses meetings and conventions, publicity, corporate communications, community relations, websites, electronic communications, and content development, including social media.

“Mark’s background and expertise in the hospitality industry along with his communications leadership while at Walt Disney World complements our team’s extensive experience,” said Danielle Courtenay, Chief Marketing Officer for Visit Orlando. “Mark understands our business and the industry and will bring great energy to the team.”
