Tropicana will be adding some new flavor to The Quarter this spring, and it comes served between two buns. Broadway Burgers is expected to open its doors to the public in April 2013.
Broadway Burgers, a gourmet burger bar, will have you salivating with its unique menu items including a selection of fresh ground beef hamburgers cooked over an open flame for the traditional meat lover and a wide range of healthier options for those who prefer to pass on the beef. And, with an array of 15 toppings to choose from, your taste buds will never be happier.
It’s about so much more than just hamburgers. Choose from healthier options like organic grass fed beef, salads, jumbo shrimp and crab cocktail, chicken sandwiches, turkey burgers, and vegetarian options like the barley & lentil burger or the sesame tuna burger. Ravenous? Try the hub cap burger, which is served on a brioche bun and weighs in at a whopping 24 ounces! If comfort food is what you’re craving, indulge with warm soft pretzels at the bar, warm chocolate chip cookies, or bread pudding.
A full service bar and live entertainment prove this is not your average burger joint. Order from a full bar featuring a vast selection of craft beers (on tap and bottled) as well as your traditional favorite beers. Live acoustic acts Thursday through Saturday add to the vibrant, unique atmosphere.
Broadway Burgers puts its own spin on your childhood favorites including four varieties of macaroni and cheese and twelve different versions of mashed potatoes. Feeling rebellious? Order an adult chocolate milk, milkshake or smoothie!
“Who doesn’t like a good burger? Opening Broadway Burger was a no-brainer for us,” says Tony Rodio, Tropicana Entertainment Inc. President & CEO. “Up until now, the Quarter has been missing a casual, straight forward option like this. It will be a draw for anyone and everyone, including families.”
This will be the second Broadway Burger location, following the highly successful original restaurant at the New York, New York Casino in Las Vegas. The new Atlantic City restaurant will be located in the space formerly dedicated to Red Square. The heavenly burger haven is 6,800 square feet and holds 225 seats. Its contemporary dining room is peppered with flat screen televisions for your viewing pleasure. Open seven days a week starting at 11:30am, the restaurant will close at 11pm Sunday through Wednesday and close into early morning hours Thursday through Saturday.
“We are extremely excited for the opportunity to open Broadway Burger Bar and Grill in the Quarter at Tropicana Resort and Casino. The Quarter at Tropicana remains one of the most unique and exciting highlights of Atlantic City and will be the perfect location for this new venture,” says Michael Weinstein, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ark Restaurants. “The forward-looking management team at the Trop has a strong and exciting vision and we look forward to working with them.”
