Aston Hotels & Resorts Names Three to Management Positions

Three accomplished hospitality industry professionals have been named to top posts at Aston Hotels & Resorts properties in Lake Las Vegas, Nev. and Kaanapali, Maui.

Nicholas Larez has been named general manager of Aston MonteLago Village Resort at Lake Las Vegas. With over 10 years of comprehensive operations, sales and revenue management experience, Larez brings great energy and a strong knowledge of the Las Vegas market to Aston. He was previously director of sales and revenue management at Hooters Hotel & Casino and has served as general manager at various Hilton branded properties. Larez is involved in the Henderson and Las Vegas chambers of commerce, the Nevada Hotel Lodging Association, and is active with a variety of local community foundations including St. Rose Dominican Hospital Foundation, For Kids Now and Academy for Autism.

Laurei Southam joins Aston MonteLago Village Resort as senior sales manager. Southam brings extensive hospitality sales and marketing experience not only in Las Vegas, but in various destinations around the world. In addition to serving as front office manager for the 1,200-room Hilton Grand Vacations resort, she has headed sales and operations efforts at The Showroom at The Venetian and Holiday Inns of the Bahamas. She has also served as vice president of Sun Trips/ Sunquest Holidays and Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection.

Wendell Inamasu has been named general manager of Aston Paki Maui in Kaanapali. A graduate of the University of Hawaii’s School of Travel Industry Management, Inamasu rose through the ranks, serving as night auditor, reservations manager and director of front office services at a variety of Maui resorts including Kapalua Bay Hotel & Villas, Wailea Beach Resort and Four Seasons Resort, Wailea. He previously served as operations manager of the exclusive King Kamehameha Golf Club and sales/group events coordinator for Wailea Golf.
