Regent Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Karim von Alvensleben as EAM, Rooms for the 500-key Regent Beijing.
Karim, a Swiss and Brazilian national, brings a wealth of knowledge and international working experience with 5-star international hotels having worked in some key cities and resorts in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.
A young and dynamic linguist speaking seven languages – English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and Kiswahili, he is now undertaking the challenge of learning to speak Putonghua while in China.
With a specific focus on Customer Service and Rooms Division Operations, Karim will work closely with the Management team to further improve and enhance the guest experience at Regent Beijing.
Complementing his extensive and solid hotel experience, Karim holds a Bachelors degree of Science in International Hospitality Management from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne. He has worked for some of the best hotels including the One & Only Reethi Rah, Hyatt Regency Casablanca, Mandarin Oriental Geneva and Six Senses in Thailand.
