Ben Tutt, General Manager of La Posada de Santa Fe, has hit the heights of hospitality with his recent election as President of the Santa Fe Lodger's Association. The election follows two years of management excellence from Tutt at the AAA Four Diamond-rated property, which occupies six beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of Santa Fe.

A fifth generation hotelier, Tutt has a lifetime of expertise to draw upon-much of it earned prior to his arrival at La Posada de Santa Fe in 2010. Tutt grew up at the luxurious Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which had been run by his family since 1918. After earning a Masters Degree from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, he worked his way through three Wyndham Resorts, becoming General Manger of Wyndham Martineau Bay Resort and Spa in 2003. He was also Managing Director of The Reefs in Southampton, Bermuda en route to Santa Fe.
The Santa Fe Lodger's Association is a monthly forum that encourages hoteliers, restaurateurs and other hospitality-associated professionals to meet and discuss issues and activities affecting their industry. They work to guide and strengthen the efforts of the local Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, and tourism efforts through mutually sponsored events, coordination between destinations, and communication with hospitality-focused organizations such as the New Mexico Lodging Association, the Albuquerque Lodging Association and others.
