Joanne Minas has been promoted to General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, CT from her most recent position as Operations Manager for the hotel. The 120-room Courtyard Norwich is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel and convention center management firm.
As General Manager, Minas will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the Courtyard Norwich. She first joined Waterford Hotel Group in 1998 as the Front Office Manager of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Waterford, CT, and since that time has held numerous positions within the company including Director of Sales of the Holiday Inn Express in Southington, CT and Assistant General Manager of the Courtyard Norwich. Minas also previously served as Human Resources Manager at both the Radisson Hotel New London and the New London Plaza Hotel before returning to the Courtyard Norwich as Operations Manager.
