Maurice Alfaro Named Director Operations Hilton Hartford

Maurice Alfaro has been appointed as Director of Operations for the 393-room Hilton Hartford hotel. In his new role, Alfaro is responsible for overseeing all rooms and food & beverage departments of the hotel, including budgeting, scheduling, associate training and development, inventory, as well as strict adherence to all Hilton and Waterford Hotel Group standards. The Hilton Hartford is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel and convention center management firm.
Alfaro brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the Hilton Hartford team. He began his career as Director of Operations for the Hotel Del Ray in Costa Rica in 1992, and since that time has served as Director of Facilities for the Marriott Somerset in NJ, Rooms Division Manager for Westin Hotels & Resorts in Morristown, NJ, and Director of Operations for the Hilton Woodcliff Lake hotel in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Alfaro joins the Hilton Hartford from his most recent position as Assistant General Manager of the Hilton Woodcliff Lake.
